Family Auto Repair was established in 1997 by Darien Allred as a full-service automotive repair shop. We are an ASE Certified shop with four stalls. We are also a State Official Vehicle Inspection Station.

Darien is our master technician with 44 years of experience in diagnostics and repairs on all types of vehicles - foreign and domestic. He started off in his hometown of Houston where he opened his own auto repair shop. Believe it or not, he still has customers from Houston driving to our shop here in Lufkin for their repairs. He moved away from the big city life with his family to this small town where he had spent many enjoyable summers with his grandparents and other relatives while growing up. He and his family like the small town, more relaxed "family" atmosphere. 

Our family includes Travis, our Office Coordinator and one of our official vehicle inspectors, who will greet you with a friendly smile when you come through the door. David is our Service Manager and ASE Certified Technician. He has been with us for 27 years and will do his very best to accommodate your needs in a fair and honest manner. He makes sure that our Service Consultant, Randel, is updated with customer needs after diagnostics are made. From estimate to completion, Randel will keep our customers informed as to the status of their vehicle, attending to every detail.

Our other dedicated technicians who work along with Darien and David are Cory, who is also an official vehicle inspector; and Daniel, who started working on cars as a young boy in his dad's repair shop.
